I was inspired to create this digital jacket by a small creature – the rose chafer. This is a metallic green beetle. And the coloration of this beetle is caused by the reflection of mostly circularly polarized light. I am fascinated by the beauty of this little insect and tried to convey in my 3D design not only its color, but even its shape. I paid special attention to the iridescent texture of the fabric by adding sequins.
